Lene Holme Samsøe / leKnit - Peacock Jumper

We have knitted the Peacock jumper from Le Knit in Alpaca Silk and Dandelion Lace as a secondary thread. It has become the most beautiful creation, where the yarn really comes into its own and gives the design an exclusive look.

The lace pattern of the yoke is easy to knit, and the combination of simple lace patterns and purl stitches creates a delicate structure. The Peacock Jumper is knitted from the top down, with the neckline shape formed using reverse stitches after the neck edge is knitted.

*Length is measured at the center back (excluding neckline).

The Peacock Jumper is designed to have a positive ease of movement of approximately 12-18 cm. Find your personal chest size by measuring around your chest (or the largest part of your upper body).
Next, you should look at the measurements given, which indicate the finished measurements of the blouse. The positive ease is the difference between your personal measurement and the blouse's measurement. For example, if your waist is 94 cm and size M in the pattern indicates a waist of 107 cm, this will give you 13 cm of movement space (107 cm - 94 cm = 13 cm).

Yarn:

1 strand Alpaca Silk (120m/50g).

1 thread Dandelion Lace (185m/25g).

The entire piece is knitted with 2 strands held together.

Gauge:

18 stitches x 24 rows in stocking stitch on 5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

PRIMARY YARN: Price per meter: 0.57 kr.
