PetiteKnit - Lyon Sweater

The beautiful Lyon sweater from PetiteKnit, we have knitted in Gaia yarn, 1 strand Alpaca Peak and 1 follower strand, Dandelion Lace. A beautiful combination that gives the right knitting tension and creates a super soft match. The picture shows color match No 082 .

The Lyon sweater is knitted from the top down, starting with the upper back and increasing as you go. The shoulders are then knitted by picking up stitches from the top of the back piece. Stitches are picked up along the shoulders, after which the yoke is knitted together on circular needles, first back and forth and then in the round. The body is knitted in the round on circular needles, while the sleeves are either knitted on double pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique. The sweater is finished with a ribbed neckline that is folded down and includes double knitting. The stripes start in the middle of the yoke and continue downwards.

Size guide:
The Lyon Sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 20 cm for the smallest sizes, while the room for movement gradually decreases for larger sizes. The sizes listed XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit chest measurements of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The exact measurements of the finished sweater can be found on the front of the pattern. Please note that the measurements are only correct if the knitting tension is observed. Measure yourself before you start to find the right size. For example, someone with a chest measurement of 90 cm will typically fit a size S, which has a width of 108 cm and thus provides a room for movement of 18 cm.
